These Bacon-Wrapped Jalapenos are great to serve at parties. They are so simple to make and don't require any fancy ingredients. My recipe may sound a little vague because I didn't put amounts, but that's because you can make as few or as many as you like, depending on the crowd you are expecting.
Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Appetizers
Jalapeno peppers
Cream cheese, softened
Bacon slices, cut into thirds
Toothpicks or wooden skewers, soaked in water
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Wearing food prep gloves, cut the jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds and membranes, leaving a few seeds if you like them HOT. Spread each pepper half with cream cheese then wrap with 1/3 of a bacon slice, securing with a wooden skewer. Bake on a sheet pan for 20 - 25 minutes, and can be browned under the broiler for a couple of minutes if desired. Serve hot or can be served at room temperature.
Slice the jalapenos in half lengthwise, leaving a few seeds for some heat. Be sure you wear gloves!
Spread each half with cream cheese.
Wrap 1/3 of a bacon slice around each pepper and secure with a skewer, then bake for 20 -25 minutes.
Your guests will love these! They would be great for Super Bowl parties or anytime you have friends over.
