The Christmas Wish List

This is a copy of the actual email I sent out to all three of my grown-up children on December 3:

OK I'm down to the wire. I need a Christmas list ASAP. I haven't done any shopping yet and don't know where to start. Send ideas!
Yo momma

Keep in mind the shopping my email is referring to includes my children and their spouses, as well as the three grandchildren. I had verbally asked for ideas before, and the only ideas so far had come from my husband and myself for the grandchildren. So, this email to them was just one stage before my panic set in. So how did my dear, loving children respond to their mother's plea for a little Christmas wish list?

Here's the email response I got back from my daughter Susan:

Whirled peas and thin thighs......same as last year.

And it WAS the same list she gave me last year!

Here's the email response I received from my son Daniel. It's just a link, which is so typical of the emails he sends to me:

I haven't had an email response back from Angela yet, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

So with 19 days until Christmas what's a mother to do?

Tomorrow I'm going to bake some gingerbread cookies, then I'm going to check my email again!
