I have a friend with an extra special birthday this year. She doesn't want to admit it, but she's going to be 65 years old this week. In honor of her special day, I made a little treat to help her celebrate the day with a laugh. Erin at Making Memories One Fun Thing After Another had made one of these little bouquets for her friend who was turning 30 recently, and I decided it would be twice as nice at 65!
I used a small basket and hot glued a piece of foam inside. Then I stuck 65 suckers into the foam, and added a sprinkling of shiny basket shreds around the edges and in between the candies. I finished it off by tying a bow of netting around the basket and using a craft stick to hold the sign I had printed that announced "65 sucks".
