On the Road Again

Today I'm leaving town for a few days. First stop is Little Rock to see Angela and family. I have a couple of fun things planned there. Tomorrow I will be going on a school field trip with Ginger to see the play There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom. That should be a hoot. Ginger and I also have a cooking project planned for later in the day tomorrow. I can't wait to get started on that. I know Charlie will also have something new made from Legos. He's such a genius with those. He can follow those diagrams in the booklets when they don't make a lick of sense to me.
After a couple of days in Little Rock, next stop will be Nacogdoches to see my sister Helen. We have some fun things planned as well. We'll do some shopping in Houston to start the weekend. There will have to be a new cooking project or two for us while I'm there with her. She has mentioned a recipe for a chocolate tart.
I will also be celebrating my birthday while I'm away on this trip. I'll probably miss my usual carrot cake this year since I won't be home.

I'm all packed and ready to go. Time to load up and get on the road again.
